Digital Desk, Hyderabad. Popular Tollywood actor Jr NTR on Tuesday expressed condolences to the family of Fan Shyam on his death. In a statement, the actor said that it is very painful news not knowing how and under what circumstances he died. Jr. NTR requested the government authorities to immediately investigate Shyam’s death. Shyam was found dead in the room of his house in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district on June 25. There was a noose around his neck. The police called it a suicide, while a campaign is being run on social media calling it a murder.
Junior NTR’s statement came after Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and former chief minister N. This comes hours after Chandrababu Naidu demanded a probe into Shyam’s death under suspicious circumstances. Naidu demanded a fair probe on Twitter. He had posted a tweet on the microblogging site using the hashtag We Want Justice for Shyam NTR. Pictures of Shyam’s dead body went viral on social media. Rejecting the police suicide angle, people on social media alleged that someone had killed him and made it look like a suicide. However, a selfie video recorded by Shyam before he committed suicide surfaced on Tuesday.
In the video, Shyam can be seen apologizing to his parents. The youth said that he was not interested in doing the job and hence he was ending his life. In March this year, a video of Shyam hugging actor Jr NTR during a film event in Hyderabad went viral. After participating in the programme, Jr NTR was getting down from the stage surrounded by several security personnel. Suddenly, a person (Shyam) pushed the security personnel and hugged Jr. NTR from behind. The fan got emotional while the actor’s security personnel tried to pull Shyam away, Jr NTR stopped them. The actor hugged the fan. This video went viral on social media. Several TDP leaders have demanded an inquiry into Shyam’s death.
