Naxalite was wanted in cases like murder and encounter
The infamous Naxalite has been the first member of the squad of former Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MP Kameshwar Baitha. Baitha later came into the mainstream and won the elections and became the MP of JMM. Amarnath has also been carrying out militant incidents as an active member of Maoist Prithvi Dusadh’s armed squad. He said he was wanted in more than 12 cases like murder and encounter.
Separated from the armed squad, this responsibility was given
Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha said that considering Amarnath’s age, the Maoist leaders had separated him from the armed squad and he was now given the responsibility of spreading Maoist ideology and gathering young boys to form a new squad. Baitha was a self-styled zonal commander of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) before entering parliamentary politics. Later he came into the mainstream.
