Jammu Kashmir News: Two non-local laborers were injured on Saturday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Police gave this information. Kashmir Zone Police said in a tweet, “Two outside laborers were shot and injured by terrorists in Kharpora Ratnipora, Pulwama.” Police said that both were taken to the hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.

Jammu and Kashmir Police said that both the laborers have been identified as Shamshad and Faizan Kasri, residents of Bettiah district of Bihar. Soon after the incident, both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where their condition is said to be stable. The area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
Firing was done on migrant laborers in Srinagar too
It is worth noting that earlier in April also, terrorists shot and injured two migrant laborers in Nowgam area of Srinagar. Police had said that terrorists had opened fire on two migrant laborers in Suthsu Kalan area of Nowgam. Both have been identified as Najmul-Islam and Anikul-Islam of West Bengal. He said that both were immediately admitted to the hospital. A police spokesman said that the police have registered a case.
A year ago, two non-locals were put to death
It is to be known that about a year ago in the month of October last year, two non-locals were shot dead by terrorists in two separate incidents in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar and Pulwama districts. Arvind Kumar Sah (30), originally from Bihar’s Banka district, was shot dead by terrorists outside a park near Idgah in Srinagar, a police officer had said. He said that Sah died on the spot. In another incident, terrorists shot Sagir Ahmed, a native of Uttar Pradesh and a carpenter by profession, in Pulwama district, injuring him critically, the official had said. He said that Ahmed later died in the hospital.
