The Garha and Gwarighat railway stations included in the city limits will be included in the Jabalpur Railway Division. Presently both the stations come under Nagpur division. In this connection, with the efforts of BJP MPs and party leaders, the West Central Railway Zone has sent a proposal to the Railways. In which a demand has been made to include both the stations in Pmre.
Years old dream of Jabalpur-Gondia broad gauge rail line has been fulfilled in Mahakaushal zone. During the tenure of BJP, a lot of money was provided for the development of the rail line. Now the proposal to include Garha and Gwarighat railway station coming in the Jabalpur city limits in the West Central Railway Zone has reached the Ministry of Railways. Whose positive signs have been found. Very soon both the stations will be included in Jabalpur Railway Division. This will further accelerate the modernization of stations. West Central Railway Zone PRO Rahul Srivastava said that this proposal has been sent to the Railway Board by the Operating Department. The board had asked for information on some technical aspects in connection with both the stations, that too has been sent.

But during the tenure of the BJP government, the dream of development was fulfilled due to adequate funds. Many trains have started on this line. Recently, an important decision has been taken to operate the Rewa-Itwari train via Chhindwara. Another demand of the state government and BJP representatives, who are working for the development of Mahakaushal including Jabalpur, will be fulfilled soon. Garha and Gwarighat stations are still included in Nagpur Railway Division. But soon it will join Jabalpur.
