Electrification work has been completed on Subhagpur and Pachpedwa railway lines of Lucknow division. Now the trains running on this route will run with electric engines.
Gorakhpur News: The electrification work of Subhagpur-Pachpedwa railway section under Lucknow division of North Eastern Railway has been completed, on which inspection and speed test was done on February 20, 2023. As a result of the completion of the electrification work of this section, the following trains will be operated by electric engines from the starting station to the destination station as follows.
– 12572 Anand Vihar Terminus – Gorakhpur Express will run with electric engine from Gonda from February 21, 2023.
– 12571 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Terminus Express will be run with electric engine from Gorakhpur from 22nd February, 2023.
– 15066 Panvel-Gorakhpur Express will run with electric engine from Gonda from February 21, 2023.
15065 Gorakhpur-Panvel Express will be run with electric engine from Gorakhpur from 23rd February, 2023.
– 15068 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express will be run with electric engine from Gonda from 25 February, 2023.
– 15067 Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Express will be run with electric engine from Gorakhpur from March 01, 2023.
– 11079 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Gorakhpur Express will be run with electric engine from Gorakhpur from 24 February, 2023.
– 11080 Gorakhpur – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will be run from Gorakhpur with electric engine from 25 February, 2023.
– 22199 Gwalior-Balrampur Express will run with electric engine from Gonda from February 23, 2023.
– 22200 Balrampur-Gwalior Express will run with electric engine from Balrampur from 23rd February, 2023.
– 22921 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express will be run with electric engine from Gonda from February 27, 2023.
– 22922 Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Express will be run with electric engine from Gorakhpur with effect from 28 February, 2023.
– 15707 Delhi-Katihar Express will be run with electric engine from Gonda from February 22, 2023.
– 15705 Katihar-Delhi Express will be run with electric engine from Gorakhpur from 23rd February, 2023.

– 15070 Aishbagh-Gorakhpur Express will be run with electric engine from Aishbagh from March 05, 2023.
– 15081 Nakaha Jungle-Gomtinagar Express will be run with electric engine from Nakaha Jungle from March 04, 2023.
15082 Gomtinagar-Nakaha Jungle Express will be run with electric engine from Gomtinagar from March 05, 2023.
– 05447 Gorakhpur-Gonda special train will run from Gorakhpur with electric engine from February 21, 2023.
– 05448 Gonda-Gorakhpur special train will run from Gonda with electric engine from March 21, 2023.
Due to completion of electrification work of Gorakhpur-Anandnagar-Barhni-Gonda (Loop) section, 11 pairs of mail-express and passenger trains and goods trains running on this section have been reduced by 8000 kilo liters of diesel per year as a result of running on electric engines. 85 crore railway revenue will be saved and environmental protection will be encouraged. Apart from this, there will be an expected improvement in the punctuality of trains.
