IND Vs SA: Suryakumar Yadav scored a brilliant half-century in the second T20 match of the three-match series against South Africa played on Sunday. Thanks to this half-century, Suryakumar Yadav has become the second fastest half-century player for India in T20 matches. With this, explosive batsman Suryakumar Yadav has completed 1,000 runs of his T20 International career. He is the third Indian to reach here in the lowest number of innings (31). Only Rohit (29) and Virat (30) are ahead of them.

Suryakumar Yadav has become the batsman to complete 1,000 runs in the shortest balls in T20. He played only 573 balls to reach here. Earlier this record was held by Australia’s Glenn Maxwell (604 balls). He achieved this feat during the second T20 International against South Africa.
Suryakumar has become the joint second fastest Indian batsman to score a half-century in T20 Internationals. He accomplished this feat in 18 balls. Earlier, KL Rahul scored a half-century in 18 balls against Scotland in the year 2021. By the way, the record of scoring the fastest half-century is in the name of former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh. He achieved this feat in just 12 balls against England in 2007.

Suryakumar Yadav has scored the most runs for India in T20 Internationals this year. Not only this, Suryakumar has also become the highest run-scorer for India in T20 Internationals in a year. Suryakumar has also become the first Indian batsman to complete 700 runs in a year. His strike rate is more than 180 and average is more than 40.
Surya surpassed Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan (42 sixes 2021) and New Zealand’s Martin Guptill (41 sixes 2021) in the list of most sixes in a calendar year. So far this year Surya has hit 50 sixes.
