    IND vs SA ODI Series | In place of Deepak Chahar, this all-rounder got a place in Team India in IND vs SA ODI Series

    India’s fast bowler Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the 3-match ODI series being played between India and South Africa due to a back injury. He has been sent to NCA, Bengaluru for treatment and rehab. Now all-rounder Washington Sundar will play in place of Deepak Chahar in this series.

    South Africa lead 1-0 in this series after winning the first match in the South Africa vs India ODI series. The second match of the series will be played on Sunday, October 9 in Ranchi. And, the third and last match of the series will be held in Delhi.

    Significantly, Deepak Chahar and Mohammed Shami were included in the Indian team’s squad in the ICC T20 World Cup as reserve players. If both the players pass the fitness test, then they can travel to Australia on 16 October.

    It is worth noting that according to the rules issued by the ICC, the teams participating in the World Cup have the time to confirm their squads by 9 October. That is, by Sunday, October 9, the information about the replacement of Jasprit Bumrah along with the reserve players will have to be announced officially by the BCCI.
