After the Asia Cup, Arshdeep Singh went to the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. Here he trained well. During this, Paras Mahambre, the fast bowling coach of the Indian team, helped him a lot. Arshdeep spoke to Paras Mhambrey after defeating South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram. During this, he said that spending some time in NCA has helped him to do well.
Arshdeep Singh told Paras Mahambre, “Talked to NCA and you were also told that a few days break will be refreshing. That was your plan, according to me. With this, I will be able to work on strength and fitness. It has helped a lot and I am feeling fresh.”

He added, “I don’t do any special preparation. I go to the bowling coach and ask him what could happen here. So, I went to you. You mentioned that in the beginning, you can get the benefit of moisture and swing can also be found. We won the good toss. The toss helped a lot. I was trying to keep the ball ahead from the beginning.”
Regarding the inswing and outswing in the match, he said, “Recently, I was not getting as much swing as I was playing. So I was not expecting the ball to be so out swing or in swing. To do 3 overs in the beginning, the team needed it, so I risked it. Regarding personal achievement, Arshdeep said, “There is nothing personal in my mind, I am ready to do whatever the team says.”
