New Delhi: New Zealand has won the last match of the three-match ODI series in New Zealand. New Zealand has defeated India 1-0 in this series. The second and third matches of the three-match ODI series were canceled due to rain, while the Kiwi team won the first match.

In the last match of this series, India came out to bat first after losing the toss, where Team India could score only 219 runs in 47.3 overs against New Zealand. In this match, Washington Sundar played a half-century innings of 51 runs for India, showing his good performance. While Shreyas Iyer scored 49 runs. After which India gave New Zealand a target of 220 runs to win.

In response to the target, the New Zealand team was able to score only 104 runs in 18 overs. After which the rain created disturbance. For this reason the match had to be cancelled. Although New Zealand were leading by 50 runs according to the Duckworth-Lewis method, at least 20 overs should have been played to complete the match.
