New Delhi: In the T20 World Cup 2022, India faced the Netherlands (IND vs NED) on 27 October. Where, India won by 56 runs. In this match, captain Rohit Sharma, star batsman Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav scored a brilliant half-century for India. Due to which Team India had set a target of 180 runs for the victory in front of Netherlands.

In this match, India won the toss and decided to bat first. Where, India’s start was very slow. Team India had already lost their first wicket in the form of KL Rahul. Rahul returned to the pavilion after scoring only 9 runs. After which Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma together took over India’s innings.
In this match KL Rahul scored only 9 runs. While captain Rohit Sharma returned to the pavilion after making 53. While former captain Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 62 and Suryakumar Yadav scored an unbeaten 51. Whereas, Van Meeckeren and Fred Klaasen took a wicket each.

The Netherlands batsmen could not stand before the bowlers of Team India. Due to this Netherlands could manage only 123 runs in 20 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets each in this match. While Mohammed Shami took one wicket.
