New Delhi: Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah said on Friday that the decision regarding the participation of injured captain Rohit Sharma in the two-Test series against Bangladesh (India vs Bangladesh Test Series) will be taken later. Will be taken Rohit had injured his thumb while fielding in the slips in the second ODI against Bangladesh at Mirpur on December 7.
Shah (Jay Shah) said in a release, “He has been examined by the BCCI medical team and he was scanned at the local hospital in Dhaka. He has left for Mumbai to see a specialist and will not play the last ODI. A decision on his playing in the Test series will be taken later.”
