Ind vs Ban 1st Test: After a long wait of almost four years, Cheteshwar Pujara ended the drought of his centuries. On the third day of the Chattogram Test, Cheteshwar scored 102* in Team India’s second innings. After which captain KL Rahul declared the innings on the score of 258 runs for 2 wickets. India has set a target of 513 runs in front of Bangladesh. Apart from Pujara, Shubman Gill scored 110 runs. Gill’s first century of Test career. In this innings he hit 10 fours and 3 sixes.
Cheteshwar Pujara missed a century by 10 runs in the first innings of the match. In the second innings, Pujara continued his brilliant batting and scored a century. He hit 102 runs in 130 balls with the help of 13 fours. On the third day, India bundled out Bangladesh for 150 runs. The lead was 254 runs in the first innings. In the second innings, there was a 70-run partnership between KL Rahul and Shubman Gill. Rahul became the victim of Khaled Ahmed for 23 runs. After this, Shubman along with Cheteshwar Pujara took the score forward and shared a 113-run partnership.
At the beginning of the third session, Shubman Gill quickly completed his century. He scored the first century of his Test career in 152 balls with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes. Gill tried to play fast as soon as he scored a century, but was sent to his pavilion by Mehidy Hasan Miraj. By this time the team’s lead had crossed 430 runs. After this Virat Kohli came to play and continued to give strike to Pujara. Kohli remained unbeaten on 19 runs.
