The New Zealand team coming on India tour will play ODI match on January 24 at Holkar Stadium in the city. This will be the deciding match of the ODI series. Before this, two matches will be held in Hyderabad and Nagpur.
The meeting of the tour and scheduling committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was held on Tuesday. In this the New Zealand tour was finalized. Three ODIs and three T20 international cricket matches will be played on this tour. The schedule of the series is yet to be officially announced. According to BCCI sources, the first match of the ODI series will be held in Hyderabad on January 18 while the second one will be held in Nagpur on January 21. The third and deciding ODI will be played on January 24 in Indore.
T20 series will start from January 27
T20 series will start after ODI. Its matches will be held in Ranchi on January 27, Lucknow on January 29 and Ahmedabad on February 1. It is noteworthy that under the BCCI’s rotation policy, an ODI match was to be held in Indore this year, but the host Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) was not willing to host two matches simultaneously, in view of which it was extended for the next series. .
