New Delhi. According to the big news of the afternoon, the Election Commission (ECP) of Pakistan has today disqualified former Prime Minister Imran Khan for five years. In fact, today the ECP has found Imran Khan guilty of corrupt practices in the Tosha Khana case.
In this regard, it has also been announced to the ECP on Friday that Imran Khan is no longer a member of Parliament. With this, now the ECP will initiate legal proceedings against Imran Khan for corrupt practices.

This is the allegation on Imran Khan
According to reports, former Pakistan PM and PTI Chief Imran Khan was accused of completely misleading the officials about the gifts he received from foreign leaders while in power. Also, according to allegations, Imran Khan has sold several watches gifted to Toshakhana to a watch dealer for more than Rs 15.4 crore.
In August last, the coalition government filed a petition against Imran Khan for “not sharing details” of Toshakhana gifts and proceeds from their alleged sale.
CEC’s decision
A four-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja on the matter announced its decision at the ECP Secretariat in Islamabad. The decision was taken unanimously by a five-member bench. However, the members of Punjab were not present during this period. According to this issued decision, criminal action will start against Imran even if he makes a false statement.
