DubaiIndian batsman Suryakumar Yadav, who is in great form, on Wednesday lost his top spot in the latest ICC (International Cricket Council) T20 International rankings while Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan regained the top spot. There is only a difference of 16 rating points between these two players, with Rizwan at his top position with 854 points and Surya in second place with 838.
He was the highest scorer in the ongoing T20 International series against South Africa with a total of 119 runs with two half-centuries. However, the 32-year-old will have a chance to rise to the top of the rankings again in the upcoming T20 World Cup to be played in Australia. Rizwan was the highest scorer in the seven-match T20 International series against England with 316 runs. Pakistan captain Babar Azam remains at the third place in this list.
India’s opener Lokesh Rahul jumped seven places to 14th on the list with his 108 runs in two matches against South Africa. While a trio of South African batsmen Quinton de Kock (up eight places to 12th), Riley Roseau (up 23 places to 20th) and David Miller (up 10 places to 29th) also managed to improve the rankings. England’s top-order batsman David Malan (up one place to fifth) while Ben Duckett has improved eight places to be at 24th.

Australia’s fast bowler Josh Hazlewood continues to top the bowlers’ list. After him in the top 10, however, there have been some changes.
