Haryana CM Manohar Lal said that the government has nothing to do with the discourse of Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who came out of jail on parole. They don’t even need to speak on Gurmeet. The law is taking its course. According to the prison manual, he has been granted parole. It is necessary for everyone to follow the provisions therein. Without naming former CM OP Chautala, he said that some people have been coming out on parole and holding election rallies. Gurmeet is serving a sentence under the law, it is wrong to associate him with the government after coming out and giving discourses.
CM strict on corruption of officers, said will not spare anyone
Manohar Lal has given a strict message to the officers involved in corruption. He said that no one will be spared if there is strong evidence. If someone of the government is caught in the matter of corruption, then strict action will be taken against him also. The focus of the government is on catching the habitual corrupt people. Till such officers, employees do not improve, action will continue against them.
The CM said that the government has made eligibility criteria in jobs. Now slip-spent does not get a job. The government has saved Rs 1300 crore by implementing DBT. Many eligible were taking benefit of two schemes at one place. Through e-governance and DBT, fraud of government schemes has been stopped.
The Chief Minister said that GRAP is applicable to reduce air pollution in NCR. In the districts that do not have availability of PNG-CNG, a soft stance will be taken against the entrepreneurs. As soon as they get natural gas, they will have to stop the use of polluting fuel and diesel in their industries. He has spoken to Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav, he has assured sympathetic consideration of the problems of the entrepreneurs. One-third brick kilns have been allowed to run. Installing the zig-zag system did not yield as good results as was expected.
