New Delhi: In the T20 World Cup 2022, India’s first match was played against Pakistan (IND vs PAK). In this great match, India registered a resounding victory and defeated Pakistan by four wickets. Virat Kohli played a brilliant innings in this match, where he scored an unbeaten 82. Virat Kohli took over India’s innings at a time when India were on their losing side. The video of Hardik Pandya crying is becoming increasingly viral on social media. He started crying a lot remembering his father during the live interview. He says in his interview, ‘I told Rahul sir before the match that where I was 10 months ago and where I am now is a big deal. I work so hard for this thing. This innings is for my father. He would have been very happy if he was here. How would I stand here if I didn’t get a chance to play. My father made many sacrifices. They decided to go to another city for our sake. When both of us brothers were six years old, they changed the city. I will always be grateful to Papa.
Hardik further says, ‘Being the first match, it was very important and that against Pakistan. The boys have worked very hard for a long time. We will lose together and win together. Me and Virat Kohli may have played the best but everyone contributed to the victory. The way Arshdeep, Shami, Bhuvneshwar bowled it was fantastic. Even though four wickets fell, but the fours that Surya hit were very important.
