    New Delhi: IPL franchise team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star batsman Ambati Rayudu (Happy Birthday Ambati Rayudu) is celebrating his 37th birthday today. He is known for his stormy batting. Whenever Rayudu used to come on the field, he used to bat aggressively and put the bowlers in trouble. He is also known as the best batsman of the Indian team’s middle order.     Ambati Rayudu was born on 23 September 1985 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Rayudu completed his schooling from Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad. Rayudu has played very few matches for the Indian team. But, he was embroiled in many controversies due to his anger.

    Many players started their career under the captaincy of Ambati Rayudu. In which players like Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, RP Singh and Dinesh Karthik are included. These players have made a different identity by making their place in the Indian team. Rayudu, who groomed the career of many players, got the opportunity to wear the Indian team jersey very late. Whenever there was an opportunity to include him in the Indian team, he lost that opportunity due to his anger. Due to anger, his cricketing talent never came out. Rayudu used to get entangled on the field from fellow players to BCCI.

    Let us tell you that Ambati Rayudu made his international debut against Zimbabwe in Harare on 24 July 2013. In this match, he scored 63 runs in 84 balls. Since then, he has been in and out of the team. Rayudu made his international debut at the age of 27. He also became the youngest batsman to score a half-century in the debut match for India. He played his last international match in the year 2019 against Australia in the year 2019.

    In the year 2019, Rayudu came into the headlines for his tweet. Actually, all-rounder Vijay Shankar was included in the team in place of Rayudu for the 2019 ICC ODI World Cup. Chief selector MSK Prasad called Shankar a 3D player and justified the selection. After this, Rayudu tweeted and wrote that, ‘I have ordered 3D glasses so that I will watch the World Cup.’

    Rayudu had directly taunted the chief selector through this tweet. After that the controversy started. The controversy grew so much that Rayudu angrily announced his retirement from international cricket. Everyone was surprised by this decision of Rayudu. However, he later withdrew his retirement by changing this decision.

    Talking about IPL, in the year 2012, Rayudu lost his cool in the match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. In this match, Rayudu clashed with former Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan. AB de Villiers and Dhawal Kulkarni intervened between the two.

    After this, while playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2016, Rayudu clashed with his own team player Harbhajan Singh. Rayudu could not stop the boundary on a ball from Bhajji while fielding in the match against Rising Pune. Angered by this, Bhajji commented, after which Rayudu could not hold his anger and went and clashed.

    Let us tell you that Ambati Rayudu got a chance to play ODI and T20 International matches for India. Rayudu made his ODI debut on 24 July 2013 and T20I career on 7 September 2014. Rayudu scored a total of 1694 runs in 55 ODIs with the help of 3 centuries and 10 half-centuries.
