Half Marathon run in Muzaffarpur: Men covered 10 KM and women 05 KM from Nehru Stadium

In the campaign to make Bihar drug-free, a half marathon was run in the district on Sunday. The District Magistrate and Deputy Development Commissioner gave the green signal. Drug free Bihar, healthy Bihar is to be made, the streets of the city resonated with slogans. Boys/men, girls/women covered the prescribed distance of 10km and 05km from Nehru Stadium in both the categories at different times. More than one thousand participants took part in this drug free campaign half marathon.

The top 10 contestants were given prizes to the men and women of both the categories. As first, second and third prizes, 5, 3 and 2 thousand respectively and remaining 7 got 1 thousand rupees each. There was a lot of enthusiasm in all the participants. District Education Officer Ajay Kumar, Deputy Election Officer Satya Prakash, Product Superintendent Nehru District Youth Officer Rashmi etc. were present on the occasion.
