Expressing his happiness about the film’s opening in Stuttgart, director Rahul V. Chittela said: I am very excited that Gulmohar has been selected to open the prestigious Indian Film Festival of Stuttgart, which is our part of the world in Germany. 20th year of championing the soulful stories of My last film Azaad won the Best Short award at the festival in 2017, and it feels great to be back at the festival with something as special as Gulmohar.
