    The seven-day Shrimad Bhagwat Purana Katha Gyanyagya and Shri Lakshminarayan Mahayagya started on Monday in the presence of Chief Minister and Goraksh Peethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath to mark the consecration of deities in the new temples of nine deities built in the Gorakhnath temple complex. On May 21, with the completion of these religious rituals, Gorakshpeethadhishwar will consecrate all the idols.

    Yogi Kamal Nath, the head priest of the Gorakhnath temple, told that Dr. Shyam Sundar Parashar, who had come from Vrindavan, would narrate the story of Shrimad Bhagwat. On the occasion of the inauguration, Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek at Mansarovar Temple, Andhiyari Bagh at 7 am on Monday.     The Kalshayatra ended at the Yajnashala of Gorakhnath Temple. After this, Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran Pothi was honored with Vedic law in the story place Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan. Katha will be narrated every day from 3 pm to 6 pm.

    Yogi Kamal Nath told that from May 15 to May 21, Shri Laxminarayan Mahayagya will also be organized in the Yajnashala of Gorakhnath temple. There will be different religious rituals every day from 8 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 5 pm. The chief priest of the temple, Pandit Ramanuja Tripathi Vedik, will discharge the role of Yagyacharya.
