Fraudsters first lured a woman who was buying fruits on Sunday evening near Bailo Crossroads of Pipraich area in Gorakhpur district and then made her remove her jewelery by showing fear of the police. The police reached the information and is probing the matter.
According to the information, Ravi’s wife Sarita, a resident of Ward No. 9 Sidhwal, had gone out to market. In the evening she was buying fruits from the vendor. During this, four fraudsters came and said that your bundle of notes has fallen. The woman got greedy and kept the bundle of paper in the bag considering it as a note.
Then after some time the fraudsters came and told that the police is checking. If caught, the police will take the money, hurry up. Then the fraudsters took the mangalsutra, pajeb, earrings and other ornaments of the woman by showing fear of the police by taking her near the railway station.
After this he gave a bag and said that there is jewelry in it, keep it inside, open it later. The woman went away with it, but after going a little further, opened it, there was nothing in it. The bundle was also not of notes, but of paper. After this the woman informed the police.
