Former JDU President Sharad Yadav has passed away. Sharad Yadav’s daughter Shubhashini Yadav has given information about this by tweeting. Shubhashini wrote in her tweet, ‘Papa is no more’. He was 75 years old. Sharad Yadav’s health was going bad for a long time.
He was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Delhi after his health deteriorated late on Thursday evening. He passed away at 9 pm.
Sharad Yadav has been among those leaders who stayed with both Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar, but Sharad Yadav was isolated after political relations with Nitish Kumar deteriorated. Due to being seriously ill, his political activities were reduced considerably.
Many leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lalu Yadav, Deputy CM of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav, Leader of Opposition Vijay Sinha have expressed grief over the death of Sharad Yadav.
Sharad Yadav died on Thursday night in a private hospital in Delhi.

Was a Union minister in the Vajpayee government
Sharad Yadav had served as a minister in various portfolios in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government between 1999 and 2004. In 2003, Sharad Yadav became the president of Janata Dal United (JDU). He was also the convenor of NDA. In the year 2018, after separating from JDU, the Democratic Janata Dal (LJD) was formed. Last year, he had announced the merger of his party with RJD.
