Permission to hold rally at Shivaji Park has been denied on the basis of law and order issues raised by Mumbai Police. Last week, the Shinde faction was granted permission to hold a rally at the MMRDA ground in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). BMC commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said that the BMC administration has denied permission to both the Shiv Sena factions to organize a rally at Shivaji Park on October 5 on the occasion of Dussehra.
