Be it the T20 series played against New Zealand or the ODI series being played, Sanju Samson was kept out of the playing XI of the team in both the series. On which now former Pakistani cricketer Danish Kaneria has said a big thing.
Kaneria said on his YouTube channel, “Ambati Rayudu’s career also ended in a similar way. He also scored a lot of runs, but something went wrong with that too. The reason for this is the politics within the BCCI and the selection committee. Are there likes or dislikes among the players?”

He adds, “How much can a player tolerate. He already endures a lot and scores wherever he gets a chance. We may lose a good player because he has to face the torture of selection and non-selection in the team. Everyone wants to see his shots in extra cover, cover and especially pull shot.
Let us tell you that Sanju Samson was given a chance only once in the entire New Zealand tour. Sanju got a chance in the first match of the ODI series, where he showed his brilliant game. But, since then he was continuously kept out of the team, while out of form Rishabh Pant got chances in the team continuously. Due to which the fans and many veterans are also very disappointed.
