Book Sales Center: The field of education is becoming hi-tech. Be it school or college studies, the MP government is making many efforts to ensure that the students do not face any kind of trouble. Very soon students arriving at Vishwavidyalaya will find a book sales center open in the campus. With this, students will not have to wander for books related to their course. Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav has said that there is a plan to provide digital books in future.
A meeting of the Working Committee and Management Board of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy was held under the chairmanship of Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Dr. Yadav said that book sale centers will be started in all universities so that the course books are easily accessible to the students. He said that the academy is the first academy in the country to publish books on higher education in Hindi.
Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the new academic session also, the Higher Education Department should issue an order to supply books to SC and ST students by April-May. He said that the National Education Policy-2020 has now entered its third year. In this perspective, wide publicity of the policy should be done through activities like essay-declamation competition for students at the divisional level and in all the universities related to NEP and independence. Students will not have to wander when the book center opens. All subject books related to the course will be available at one place.
Additional Chief Secretary Shri K.C. Gupta said that M.P. Hindi Granth Academy also moved forward in the direction of digital book. Hindi translation of books and audio books of newspapers should be prepared by inviting suggestions from common citizens and college students. In this meeting, Academy director Ashok Kadail gave information about various subjects and upcoming plans. Vice Chancellors of various universities were also present.
