New Delhi: Former cricketer Sourav Ganguly’s journey as the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is about to end. Now, in his place, former Indian cricketer Roger Bunny is expected to become the new President of BCCI. At the same time, Ganguly has also made up his mind to separate from the BCCI. He said that now he will focus on some other big task.

Amidst the discussion about the new President of BCCI, Sourav Ganguly himself has broken the silence by coming forward. Sourav Ganguly said, “I have been an administrator for a long time. But now I am moving on in my life.” Sourav Ganguly said, “You can do anything in life. But the best time for me was when I played for India for 15 years. I was also the President of BCCI. Now my focus is on doing something big.”

BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said, ‘I was the President of Cricket Association Bengal for 5 years and served as the President of BCCI for 3 years. After the term ends, you have to leave. You cannot play and remain an administrator forever. It was great to see both sides of the coin as a player and as an administrator.

He said, “I have not believed in history. But my eye has been on the fact that there has been a dearth of talent playing at the international level in the East. No one becomes Ambani or Narendra Modi in a day. You have to work for years to become like that.”
It is to be known that, after the amendment in the constitution of BCCI, it was being speculated that Sourav Ganguly would become the President of BCCI for the second time. But, Sourav Ganguly has also been accused of failing as BCCI President.
