BCCI Diwali Gift. Taking a historic decision today, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has given a big Diwali gift to the members of the women’s cricket team. Jay Shah, Secretary, Board of Control for Cricket in India has informed that there will no longer be discrimination between men and women in Indian cricket on the basis of salary and all players will be given equal fees. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah informed about this historic decision through social media.
Jay Shah told in his post that BCCI now women cricketers will also get the same match fee as men. Let us tell you that 15 lakhs will be given for Test matches, 6 lakhs for ODIs and 3 lakhs for T20.
Jay Shah also informed that men are paid Rs 3 lakh to play a match in T20 International cricket, this fee will now be given to all women cricketers. Jay Shah has also thanked the Apex Council for supporting this decision.
