Brisbane: Pat Cummins and his fellow fast bowlers have not been rested despite the busy schedule ahead in view of the preparations for the World Cup 2023. Australia have named Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc in the squad for three one-day internationals against England and two Tests against West Indies after their exit from the group stage of the T20 World Cup. These three fast bowlers were also part of the team in the T20 World Cup and before that in the matches played for the preparation of this tournament.

Cummins will lead Australia in both ODIs and Tests. Australia will play ODIs against England on November 17, 19 and 22 in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne respectively. He will then play a Test match against the West Indies in Perth from November 30 to December 4 and then in Adelaide from December 8 to 12. The Test team will then host South Africa for a three-match series, the first of which will be played in Brisbane from December 17.
