Attack on non-payment of extortion in Samastipur: 3 people were injured by sword, all injured admitted to hospital

In Rahmatpur village of Mufassil police station area of ​​Samastipur district, some people attacked three people of the same family with swords and injured them on Tuesday afternoon for not paying extortion money. Injured Mohammad Asif Hussain, Mohammad Qamar Nawaz and Mohammad Hussain have been admitted to Sadar Hospital with the help of villagers.

Regarding the incident, it has been told that some people like Mo Islam etc. of the same village used to demand extortion from Mohammad Asif Hussain. People said that if you stay in the village, you will have to pay extortion money. When the amount of extortion was not given, in the afternoon, the said people climbed their house and assaulted them and injured 3 people by attacking them with a sword. It is alleged that people also fired. However, when there was an uproar, the people gathered intervened and pacified the matter. All the three injured people were taken to Sadar Hospital.

On the other hand, station in-charge of Mufassil police station, KC Bharti said that the incident has been reported to the police and has been sent to the police officer, an FIR will be registered in this matter. He said that there is information that there is no extortion behind the case but a mutual dispute. The police is looking into the whole matter from its level. However, till the filing of the news, the FIR could not be registered in this matter.
