At the same time, at many ghats, the fasting also stayed in the night.

Vratis are fasting Nirjala on Saturday night after eating Kharna’s prasad. Today, with the offering of Arghya to the rising sun, this great festival will be completed. After this, the fasting will do Parana (opening the fast) at their homes.

    Katihar A large number of devotees perform Chhath at the Kosi Chhath Ghat and Sand Pokhar Ghat built on the banks of the Kari Kosi river in the city. Apart from this, about 5000 people will do Chhath around the Ghat built on BMP Pokhar, Vijay Babu Pokhar of Badi Durga Sthan Vijay Nagar.
