MAKKAH — A medical team from Ajyad Emergency Hospital near the Grand Mosque in Makkah was able to save the life of a 37-year-old Bangladeshi pilgrim, after his heart stopped while performing the Umrah rituals. The pilgrim was transported by ambulance teams to Ajyad Hospital.
Immediately after taking the pilgrim to the hospital, the medical team made a rapid intervention and started CPR through the shock device until the pulse returned to the normal state. The pilgrim was then transferred to King Abdullah Medical City to receive the required specialized medical care and treatment.
It is noteworthy that Ajyad Hospital was able to provide medical services for 596 intensive care admission cases during the first half of 2023.
