New Delhi: Former South African captain AB de Villiers has retired from all formats of cricket. He also retired from IPL last year today i.e. on 19th November. Today it has been a year since he said goodbye to IPL. Now remembering this day, RCB has shared a tweet.
Former South African batsman AB de Villiers will be “back in Bengaluru soon”, franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) said on Saturday. After which his fans became very happy. However, it is not yet clear whether de Villiers will join the team as a player or coach.

Sharing a video, RCB wrote in the tweet, “Abra Benjamin de Villiers forever! soon! #ABForever with Bengaluru,” De Villiers was in Bengaluru recently and speculations are rife about his return to the RCB team.
Let me tell you, De Villiers had said in a video posted by the franchise on November 3, “I am here to have a chat with the people of RCB for next year’s IPL.” At the same time, De Villiers is also an RCB Hall of Famer. He was a part of the team from 2011-2021 in 157 matches. He scored 4,522 runs at an average of 41.10. During this, he scored two centuries and 37 half-centuries.
