A young man died on the spot in a collision between two bikes late Friday evening near Maina Chowk under Palasi police station area. The mother and sister of the deceased were seriously injured.
As soon as the information was received, the Palasi police station reached the spot, took the dead body of the youth and brought it to Sadar Hospital Araria for postmortem. Postmortem of the dead body was done and handed over to the relatives. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Abu Sama, 25, son of Halimuddin, resident of Hardar Panchayat Ward No. 3 of Jokihat police station area.
The elder brother of the deceased Mohammad Shahbaz told that his brother Mohammad Abu Sama was going to his niece’s house in Palasi police station area Barhat with his mother and sister to see a girl for himself. Meanwhile, on the way near Maina Chowk, a speeding bike collided with his brother’s bike. His brother Mohammad Abu Shama died on the spot.
His mother and sister were hurriedly admitted to Palasi Primary Sub Health Center by the local people. Where the injured mother and sister were referred to the higher center for better treatment after doing first aid under the care of the doctor.
