IND vs ENG 2nd Semi Final T20 WC 2022: Team India is to face England in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup. The eyes of the whole world are on this match to be played in Adelaide on 10 November. Meanwhile, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has made his prediction about the winner of the match. According to Shahid Afridi, England has the upper hand in the match and the English team has a 60 to 65 percent chance of victory. Afridi said this in an interview with Pakistan’s news channel Saamana. In the first semi-final, New Zealand face Pakistan. Pakistan hopes that it will be able to make it to the final.
According to Afridi, both the teams are equally balanced and have done well in the tournament. Both the teams have had good past performances too, but in my opinion, I would put England 60-65 per cent above India.
Elaborating on his choice, Afridi said, “I think England have a very good combination if we choose to bat or bowl, even spinners.” Afridi’s hands also say that England are looking strong right now, but the semi-final will be a pressure match, the team which will handle this pressure well, commit mistakes under pressure, whose players will perform their 100 percent, that team will win.
ENG vs IND: India’s batting power
According to Afriqui, India’s strength is batting. KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav are in excellent form. The team management hopes that these players will prove to be the trump card in the semi-finals. Kohli is the top run-scorer of this World Cup, while Suryakumar’s shots are the ones to trouble the opposition. Arshdeep Singh will be responsible for bowling on the shoulders of Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
