The deceased was identified as Vicky Kumar Mahato, son of Lal Bahadur Mahato, a resident of Harpur Tengrahi village under Mohammadpur police station area.

Late on Thursday night, he was returning home after riding his bike. Meanwhile, as soon as he reached near Dighwa Duboli, he was hit by an unknown vehicle, due to which he was seriously injured. With the help of people around, he was admitted to Baikunthpur Community Health Center for treatment. Seeing his condition serious after giving first aid, the doctors referred him to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital for better treatment. On the other hand, after getting the information, the family members also reached Baikunthpur Community Health Center and took the injured to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital for treatment. While coming to Sadar Hospital, on the way, the young man died in the early morning of Friday. After the death of the young man, there has been uproar among the family members.
