Jamui, Barhat Police arrested a youth with a weapon from Guguldih area late on Monday evening. According to the information, the arrested youth had come to take his friend’s sister forcibly to his village. To which the friend’s sister protested and informed the Barhat police about the incident. As soon as the information was received, the police raided and arrested the youth and sent him to jail. A country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from the arrested youth. The arrested youth has been identified as Deepak Kumar, father Prakash Das, resident of Anandpur village under Laxmipur police station area.

The arrested youth told the police that at the behest of his friend Vipin Kumar’s father Naveen Ravidas ji Lakhai village, he had come to Guguldih Ravidas Tola along with six companions to forcibly take his sister from her in-laws’ house. began to be done by Bipin’s sister did not want to go home. She wanted to live with her husband. Vipin’s sister had married a month ago in love marriage. Due to which Vipin used to be angry inside. Disputes started from both the sides. Seeing the growing commotion, the family members and villagers informed the Barhat police. On receiving the information, Barhat police station chief Chittaranjan Kumar reached Guguldih with the police force, everyone started running away on seeing the police. The police chased and caught a youth. From whom a country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered.

The other youth managed to escape. In this case, Barhat police station in-charge Chittaranjan Kumar told that a youth has been arrested, the police are raiding to arrest others. Soon all the police will be in the custody.
