Youth arrested for dancing with slap in Sheikhpura
Police have arrested Rohit Kumar alias Malinga, son of Arun Singh, a resident of Sarva village of Barbigha police station area, in the video viral on social media of a dancer carrying a pistol and singing an obscene song in Sheikhpura. Police arrested him on the basis of viral video on social media.
This information was issued by SP Kartikeya Sharma in a press release late on Thursday evening. The SP said that two other cases including extortion and kidnapping have already been registered against the arrested criminal in the police station. In which the police was already looking for him.
Later he was sent to jail after being brought to Barbigha police station for questioning. In this regard, SP Kartikeya Sharma said that this arrest was made by the police in order of continuous action by the police regarding crime control and investigation and arrest of miscreants involved in the crime.
He said that after the local watchman identified the youth seen in the video on social media, the police team raided his house and started running after seeing the police. Whom the police chased and arrested. He accepted his involvement in the matter. He told that the weapon belonged to his elder brother Murari Kumar. who has just gone out. That’s why the police could not even recover the weapon. Registering an FIR against both the brothers in Barbigha police station in this matter, the police has intensified further investigation.
