Woman dies of burns due to gas cylinder in Samastipur: Scorched due to leaking cylinder during cooking, died during treatment

A woman died of burns while cooking food in Janardanpur village under Kalyanpur police station area of ​​Samastipur district on Saturday evening. The woman has been identified as Geeta Devi, 38, wife of Sanjay Rai of the village. Police reached on the information of the incident and seized the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

In relation to the incident, it has been told that Geeta Devi was badly burnt due to leakage of gas cylinder pipe during cooking. People gathered after the attack took the woman to the hospital for treatment. He died during treatment late in the evening. When the Kalyanpur police reached the information about the death of the woman, the dead body was sent for postmortem. However, different types of discussions are happening regarding the incident.

An FIR has not yet been registered in this matter. Sadar DSP Aisan Fakhri told that the woman died due to scorching. This matter is being investigated. Till now the family members have not given the application. An FIR will be registered on receipt of the application. The police is currently investigating the matter at its own level.
