Woman dies after being hit by train: Incident happened at Western Railway crossing of Sasaram railway station, accident while crossing track

A woman died when she was hit by a train west of Sasaram railway station on the DDU-Gaya rail route in Rohtas district on Monday. On information, the team of Railway Police Force took possession of the dead body and identified it, then sent it to Sadar Hospital, Sasaram for post-mortem.

The incident took place while crossing the railway crossing near Madaini Railway Gumti under Sasaram Mufassil police station area. The deceased has been identified as Sangeeta Devi, husband Santosh Kumar Singh, a resident of Semradih village under Baddi police station area. The news of the death created a furore in Mutka’s house, the family members immediately left for the Sadar Hospital.

One died due to drowning in the Chhotki canal located in Tenuaj Tola village of Dinara block area. The deceased has been identified as Raju Mallah of the village. The police of Natwar police station, who reached the information, took out the body from the canal with the help of villagers, then sent the body to Sadar Hospital Sasaram for post-mortem.
