Today the winter session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly came to an end. In this session of 5 days, the opposition BJP created a ruckus. The reason is clear that on the day this assembly session began on December 13, a major incident took place in Chapra in Bihar, where dozens of people died after drinking spurious liquor. In such a situation, while sitting, the BJP got a big issue. The BJP fiercely attacked the government on this issue for five days and created ruckus. Despite this, the ruling party continued with the legislative work in the assembly. Amidst the uproar, many bills, many requests, many notifications were passed.

7 Bills were passed in the Bihar Legislative Assembly. In which Bihar Special Court (Amendment) Bill 2022, Bihar Lokayukta (Amendment) Bill 2022, Bihar Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill 2022, Bihar Appropriation Authority Expenditure (1989-90) Bill 2022, Bihar Technical Service Commission (Amendment) Bill 2022 And Bihar Nagar Municipality (Amendment) Bill 2022 Bihar Appropriation (Number Four) MLA 2022 was passed.

At the same time, a total of 843 questions were given during this session. In which 678 questions were accepted. In this accepted 678 questions, there were total 30 short informed questions. Out of which 26 replies were received. A total of 543 starred questions were accepted. In which 522 answers were received and 105 questions were unstarred. A total of 96 calling attention notices were received in the winter session of the Vidhansabha. Out of which 8 were accepted for statement. 81 notices were sent in writing to the concerned department and 7 became invalid.

A total of 136 applications were received in this session. Out of which 132 were approved and 4 were rejected. 109 petitions were received in the session, out of which 100 were approved. The notice of 100 private resolutions was discussed in the House. During the winter session, matters of public interest were raised by all the members through Zero Hour and copies of reports, rules, notifications of various departments and reports of various committees of the Bihar Legislative Assembly were placed on the table.
