Where earlier garbage used to be thrown… Today health camp was organized there: Patna Municipal Corporation took the initiative, health checkup of people was done for free and medicines were received

Patna Municipal Corporation is constantly trying to make Patna clean. New methods are also being adopted for this. In this sequence, now the Municipal Corporation has started a unique initiative. Actually, Patna Municipal Corporation has started OPD service at GVP points in various wards to provide health services smoothly to the common people.

The special thing is that health check-up is being done by Patna Municipal Corporation at the same places, where earlier garbage was thrown. By cleaning and beautifying such places, Patna Municipal Corporation is being used for health services. It has been started from Thursday from 12th to 14th January at 16 GVP points in all the 6 zones.

Different medical officers have also been appointed by the Patna Municipal Corporation. Free check-up and medicines were also made available at these places. A total of 581 people took advantage of this on the first day. This initiative has been launched under the joint aegis of Patna Municipal Corporation and UNFPA. During this, various medical officers have also been appointed by the Municipal Corporation.
