- DM SP Inspected The Polling Stations In The Afternoon, Instructed To Take Strict Action Against Those Who Spread Disturbances

To inspect the Jamui Municipal Council elections, DM Avnish Kumar Singh and SP Shaurya Suman reached and inspected all the 87 booths including Old Bazar, Bhachiyar, Nimarang, Lagma in the Municipal Council area on Sunday. At the same Bhachiyar booth number 1,2,3, DM Avnish Kumar Singh himself took information from the polling personnel present there.
Giving information, the DM said that 87 polling stations have been set up in the Jamui Municipal Council area. While for the first time, 17 booths have been made in Sikandra, which became a Nagar Panchayat. Where in addition to the Sector Magistrate, the PCCP Magistrate has been appointed for peaceful polling while the Zonal Magistrate has been appointed to oversee the entire system, above all the Supple Zonal Magistrate. Also told that 30% polling has been done till 12 noon.
SP Shaurya Suman told that his security personnel are deployed at all the booths. There is no report of any untoward incident. But area domination is being done continuously by the security personnel regarding this.
At the same time, warning the anti-social elements in a strict tone, said that if any attempt is made to do any kind of disturbance then strict action will be taken against such people. Let us tell you that 16 candidates are in the fray for Chief Councillor, 14 for Deputy Chief Councilor, while 147 candidates are in the fray for Ward Councilor in Jamui Municipal Council area. While for the first time Nagar Panchayat, Sikandra has 8 candidates for Chief Councillor, 9 for Deputy Chief Councilor and 98 candidates for Ward Councillor.
