New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has taken a big decision on Friday. The BCCI had sacked Chetan Sharma from the post of chairman of the selection committee. Along with this, his team members Devashish Mohanty, Sunil Joshi and Harvinder Singh have also been removed from the post.
During the tenure of Chetan Sharma, the Indian team was out of many big tournaments. The Indian team could not reach the knockout stage of the T20 World Cup played last year and the T20 World Cup final. After this, the Indian team had to face defeat in the World Test Championship, Asia Cup 2022.
