Villagers lockout in government school of Begusarai: There was resentment among the people due to non-availability of the teacher, demanding the removal of the headmaster

In Begusarai’s primary school, angry villagers locked the school on Monday due to non-arrival of teacher on time and lack of proper teaching and learning. The incident is of Sawant village of Chhaudahi block. It is being told that today the villagers are protesting by locking the school due to the incident of fight between the school teacher and the villager. The whole incident is of newly created primary school Moin Tola Sawat of Chaurahi block.

In fact, on November 18, there was a fight between a rural teacher and a school teacher over the removal of straw from the school premises. In which a case was registered against a teacher of the village in the police station by the victim teacher of the school. After the dispute in the school, today dozens of villagers have locked the school and are on protest demonstration.

Locals allege that the headmaster has been holding on to his chair in the school for 16 years. No teachers come to the school on time, the education of the children is also not being done properly. Mistakes are being made in the mid-day meal. The local people said that they had also complained about this to the education department several times. But till date neither any action has been taken against the teachers nor there is any improvement in the system of the school.

Angered by this, today the villagers came in anger and sat on a dharna by locking the school. On the notice of lockout, BPRO Sujit Kumar reached the school and started investigating the whole matter. At the same time, they pacified the angry people by convincing them and assured action on the demands of the villagers.
