A woman was burnt to death and her daughter was seriously burnt in arson by a youth at Chakia in Sadar block of Arwal district. Many big leaders are reaching the victim’s house after the incident of setting fire to the house late on Monday night and burning the woman to death. Leader of Opposition in the Vidhansabha late on Wednesday night Vijay Kumar Sinha met the family members of the victims. He expressed his condolences to the family and talked about being together in the hour of grief.

Vijay Sinha said that for the justice of the victim’s family, voice will be raised from road to house. He told reporters that the crime graph in Bihar is continuously increasing. Criminals seem to be targeting students. In the last 24 hours, many incidents of gangrape, kidnapping and firing have come to light in Bihar. Even the capital Patna is no longer safe. He said that if the arrest of the accused and government assistance is not provided, then there will be agitation from road to house. He expressed grief over the incident.

RLJP state president and MP Prince Raj consoled the families of the victims. He said that the state government is anti-Dalit government. Under his rule, Dalits are being targeted selectively. The Bihar government should resign on the basis of morality. Now Bihar is not able to handle them. He demanded from the government that whoever is guilty, he should be punished severely by conducting a speedy trial and compensation of ten lakh should be given to the family of the deceased.
