The thief has been identified as Ranjit Paswan, a resident of Bhawanipur village. It is being told that in the night, Ranjit was stealing a cow in Gorapur village by Paswan. Then after hearing the screaming of the cow, people ran and caught the accused Ranjit Paswan red handed. He was severely beaten up by his deafness. Someone made a video of the same beating in mobile and made it viral on social media.

It is said that when Ranjit was going to steal the cow by Paswan, the villagers woke up and dozens of villagers caught Ranjit Paswan and started beating him. Later, after getting information from the police, the police took Ranjit Paswan in his possession in an injured condition. At present, the accused Ranjit Paswan was brought to the Sadar Hospital in Begusarai for medical examination in an injured condition and after that the police has started taking action.

Mansoorchak police station president said that even before this, Ranjit Paswan had gone to jail on charges of theft, this time also people caught red handed in the case of cow theft and handed them over to the police.
