Verdict on BDO Arvind Mishra murder case in Sheikhpura: In 2008, the murder was committed by entering the house, now all the accused acquitted due to lack of evidence

All the accused have been acquitted in the murder case of Arvind Kumar Mishra, BDO of Ariary block of Sheikhpura district. On Tuesday, ADJ III of Civil Court Sheikhpura Sanjay Singh released former chief Rajesh Ranjan alias Guruji, Naveen Chaurasia, Rajiv Kumar, Mukesh Kumar and Ranjit Singh, accused of BDO murder, due to lack of evidence. Pintu Mahato and Bachchu Mahato have also been released earlier in this case due to lack of evidence.

Giving information in this regard, Additional Public Prosecutor Shambhu Sharan Singh said that on June 22, 2008, unknown criminals had shot dead Arvind Kumar Mishra, the then BDO of Arari, in broad daylight. At the time of the murder, the BDO was at his private residence in Rajopuram locality located at the district headquarters. In the course of investigation in this incident, the police filed a charge sheet against 7 people in the court under Section 120 B 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Where judicial action started against these people by framing charges by the court.

Police had found the facts behind the murder of the BDO in the course of research regarding the concealment of irregularities in teacher planning and the implementation of the development plan. However, 32 witnesses were produced by the prosecution during the proceedings in the court. But the number of supporters of the event remained very less in this. The wife of the deceased BDO also did not testify in the court as a witness. BDO’s office personnel testified in the court. But due to the absence of these people at the spot, these people also did not support the incident. Although the police and the doctor fully supported the incident.

Everyone had to go to jail after being named in this case. Later everyone also got the facility of bail by the court. In this way, the result of this sensational murder of the district was also obtained in zero. Respecting the order of the court, all those acquitted from the court said that all of them were falsely implicated in this heinous murder case under local politics on the basis of suspicion. After 14 years of judicial action, these people got justice. Prior to this, all the accused have been released in the case of murder of another Ariari BDO Ashok Raj Vats.
