Vande Bharat Express Accident : Vande Bharat Express running between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar has become a victim of an accident. It is said that when the train was passing between Maninagar and Vatva station, suddenly a herd of buffalo came on the railway track. The front part of the train was damaged due to the collision with a herd of buffaloes. However, no part of the train was damaged which would affect the operation of the train.
After removing the carcasses of buffaloes from the tracks after the accident, the train was sent to its destination. Western Railway Senior PRO said that the accident took place between Gairatpur-Vatwa station at 11.18 am. However, on behalf of the Railways, it has been appealed to the villagers around the railway track not to leave their cattle near the track.

Vande Bharat train has 1,123 seats. It has 104 seats in the executive chair car and 1,019 seats in the chair car. All 104 seats in the executive chair car and 982 in the chair car were booked.This is the third Vande Bharat Express and the first train of this class was introduced on the New Delhi-Varanasi route, while the second was introduced on the New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra route.
What is the passenger fare of this train
The fare for chair car ticket from Gandhinagar to Mumbai Central is Rs 1,275 and for executive chair car ticket is Rs 2,455. The chair car ticket from Mumbai Central to Gandhinagar will cost Rs 1,440 and the executive chair car fare will be Rs 2,650. An official said the difference in to and fro fares is on account of catering charges.
