The disaster control room gave this information. So far 6 people have been rescued and sent to the hospital. The vehicle was on its way from Laldhang to a village in Bironkhal when the bus carrying guests of the wedding ceremony crashed near Simri Mor.

    According to the control room, the accident took place around 7.30 pm. Rescue operations have been started with the help of local people, but the rescue workers are facing difficulties due to darkness. Eyewitnesses said that there was no lighting at the accident site and residents of the village were trying to rescue the people trapped in the bus with the help of flashlights on their mobile phones. He said the casualties could have been higher in the accident. However, top officials have reached the spot and further information is awaited.

All 44 students aboard the bus, three teachers, the driver and the bus assistant were injured. Seven-eight students were admitted to a hospital in Manchar.
